We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern, NC and found it to be a perfect venue to host your next North Carolina event. Beautiful property with Mariana views in downtown New Bern. Great meeting and event spaces for gatherings large and small. 

 Enjoy breath taking views of the Trent River and with less than a mile from the beautiful gardens and Tryon Palace and New Bern-Craven County Visitors Center.  

Restaurant choices are limited and making reservations is a smart idea. We checked Persimmon's Waterfront Restaurant and found the food marvelous - we ordered the Creole Bourbon Butter Shrimp with Toasted French Bread (Photo Above) and Crispy Skinned Sea Bass with Sweet Potato Risotto and French Beans. Really Enjoyable
